1. Overview
We strive to provide high-quality, personalized English tutoring services. However, we understand that issues may arise, and we are committed to resolving them fairly. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which you may request a refund, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), Swiss Code of Obligations, and applicable EU consumer protection laws (such as the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU).

2. Your Right to Cancel (EU Customers)
If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of digital services (e.g., tutoring packages or subscriptions) within 14 days of the original purchase — unless the service has already been fully performed (e.g., a lesson has already been delivered), and you acknowledged and consented to this waiver at the time of booking.

If you book a session to be delivered within the 14-day withdrawal period, you waive your right to cancel under EU law once the session has taken place.

If no services have been rendered yet, and you cancel within 14 days, you are entitled to a full refund.

3. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
a. Session Cancellation by Tutor

If we cancel a scheduled session and cannot reschedule it at a mutually agreeable time, you are entitled to a full refund for that session.
b. Cancellation by Student (You)

24+ hours notice: You may reschedule or request a full refund.

Less than 24 hours notice: There is no refund for cancellation when less than 24 hours notice is provided.
c. Technical Failures
If a session cannot be delivered due to a verified technical failure on our part (e.g., tutor internet failure), we will reschedule the session or issue a full refund.

4. Non-Refundable Cases
We do not offer refunds in the following situations:

You failed to attend the session without notice (no-show)

You arrived more than 15 minutes late to the session and missed significant content

A session took place and was delivered as agreed, but you simply changed your mind

You purchased a lesson package and used part of it (partial refund requests may be reviewed individually)
5. Refund Procedure

We aim to process refund requests within 7 business days. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Twint). Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or card provider to process the transaction.
